Splendid facilities and staff, with the sole inconvenience being the coral-laden waters.
The standout feature of my stay at Malahini Kuda Bandos Resort was undoubtedly the warmth and dedication of the staff. Their friendliness and eagerness to assist at every turn made a significant impact, with Fifi, Leem, and the talented team of kitchen chefs deserving special recognition. The villas were a delight as well—immaculately clean, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay, reflecting the resort's commitment to guest satisfaction.
Despite the many positives, a few aspects of the resort could be improved. The presence of coral and occasionally murky waters near the beach made swimming without beach shoes a challenge, detracting from the otherwise pristine beach experience. Also the availability of amenities like sunbeds is limited, which were often reserved by towels left from the day before, limiting access for other guests. Additionally, the resort's extra services, such as massages and spa treatments, along with dining at the restaurants, were notably expensive, which could be a consideration for guests budgeting their stay. Concerns were also raised regarding staff welfare, as some appeared to be working excessively long hours.
